Center For Wooden Boats Festival

Support the CWB at their 36th Annual Fest, June 30-July 74th!

The 2012 Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival will be the biggest and best The Center for Wooden Boats has held yet. The 36th annual festival opens Saturday June 30th and runs every day through the 4th of July. Come see the boats, build a toy boat, go for a ride on a classic piece of Northwest maritime history and stick around for fireworks.

On the 4th of July itself join the celebration with the 24th annual Family Fourth at Lake Union, Presented by Starbucks in Gasworks Park. The goal is to expand the fun all around the lake. That day you’ll find live bands playing at both parks before fireworks, and a history trivia game designed by the Museum of History and Industry along the lakeshore connecting us. And, of course, there is soft grass to sit on in either park to watch the fireworks.

It’s going to be a lot of fun for everyone. To learn more about this Wallingford & Lake Union event, visit: http://cwb.org/2012Festival
