Picnic In the Park Candidate Forum June 19th

Join the Wallingford, Fremont, Queen Anne, Ballard & U-District Chambers on Wednesday, June 19th from 12-2PM for this Multi-Chamber event!

This fun annual event grows every year and with the picnic shelter – rain or shine, this is always a great place to talk with all the candidates before the primary to determine who you will support, vote for and maybe even work to help elect. This is your chance to meet face-to-face with candidates for office and get your questions answered over a picnic lunch!

We welcome:

Mayoral Candidates: Mike McGinn, Tim Burgess, Bruce Harrell, Kate Martin, Ed Murray, Peter Steinbrueck

We will also be joined by Candidates for City Council as well as representatives from various initiatives.

$20 includes a picnic lunch by Cafe Turko with dessert by Cameron Catering!

Wallingford Businesses Rock Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner. And Wallingford is the place to be.

According to Zillow, Wallingford is the third most Trick or Treatable neighborhood in Seattle (which ranked 4th in the country).

We have over 65 businesses (and counting) all along N 45th St. welcoming Trick or Treaters on Weds. 10/31. For a list of participating businesses check out the link below. Don’t forget - this is Wallingford Center‘s 6th annual food drive to benefit Family Works. Please bring a non-perishable donation. Collection bins are at the East entrance of Wallingford Center.
