February Chamber Luncheon
The next Chamber luncheon is NEXT THURSDAY, February 17th at 12:00PM at
The Rusty Pelican 1924 N 45 Street.

• Chicken Caesar Wrap

• Turkey Club

Highlights for February Luncheon:

• Wallingford Chamber will offer Health and Dental Insurance to members in the near future.
• Wallingford Chamber Survey results from Dr. Bob Hayes Wallingford resident and Business consultant.

Wallingford Journal and Babbette’s Events are the featured businesses on the Chamber website www.wallingfordchamber.org  for the month Feb and will be speaking at the luncheon on Thursday the 17th at Rusty Pelican.

• New to the Chamber!Twice a year we will have a dinner/Appetizer meetings. We can explore other Wallingford restaurants!

Farmer’s Market Update:
The Farmer’s Market location has not been decided but Tully’s back parking
lot and Meridian Park are the two best possiblities

Judy Ayers of “4 Your Eyes Only” was appointed the Chamber’s “Event

• Key to Success Dinner on Feb. 17th 2011at the Boys and Girls Club
  1310 N 45th St. Time 6:30 to 8:30 Ticket available at the door or stop

• The Chamber will have a Chamber Board Retreat on the 20th of February 3Pm-8Pm location to be announced.
• Spring Clean and Earth Day Celebration coming to Wallingford in April
  Kiddies Parade is scheduled for July 9th 2011: The Chamber will work
  closely with the WNO as organizers of the “Kiddies Parade”.  The Chamber hopes to have more businesses with booths at the street fair. The Chamber plans to extend the event into the evening with a “Beer
  Garden” and Live Music making the later hours more of an adult event. More on this later….. If you would to help with this event please contact judy@wallingfordchamber.org
• Meaningful Movies on Fridays at Keystone Church. Celebrate 8 years
  of Meaningful Movies on Friday 2/11! Doors open at 6:30 (note early

Update on N. 34th St. Progress

The contractor is back on site installing traffic control measures approved
by SDOT.

Chilly Hilly Fundraising Ride

The Chilly Hilly Fundraising Ride on Sunday, February 27th for the Cascade
Bike Club will follow a 33 mile route around Bainbridge Island! While some
folks may not be ready for the hills, all are welcome to come out and
support the riders.
The Bainbridge Island Ferry packed with thousands of bikes is a sight not to

Stoneway Village Construction Underway

Stoneway Village construction has started on-site after receiving full
notice to proceed with an official start date of February 1, 2011.  For more
