Larry Bush
I retired after a 35+ year career as a Scientist. My wife Rhonda and I live in the house in Wallingford she grew up in. Her father was a Seattle firefighter for many years and purchased the house when he retired and moved to Oregon.
For the past few years, I have been an active volunteer supporting and helping organize the annual Seafair Wallingford parade, each year taking on more responsibility in ensuring the parade runs smoothly.
I am also on the editorial board of Wallyhood, our local blog and have been an active writer contributing many articles on the goings-on in the neighborhood. It is in this role that I have got to know many of the local businesses in Wallingford and have written many business spotlights.
I am also on the Board of Directors for Historic Wallingford, our local non-profit organization whose goal is to foster community awareness of the value of local heritage homes which makes Wallingford the community it is.
