Good Shepherd Center

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places and was designated a Seattle Landmark in 1984, this grand building once served young women seeking shelter, education, and training, until 1973. The City of Seattle bought the property in 1975 and transferred the buildings to Historic Seattle for use as a multi-purpose community center, now providing live/work units to artists, gathering and performance space, and office/classroom space for multiple nonprofit tenants.
