Wallingford-Meridian Streetcar Historic District

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2022, this locally-significant historic district features hundreds of homes built between 1920 and 1940, with styles ranging from Tudor Revival to Craftsman Bungalow. Named after the streetcar lines of the early 1900s that defined the development of the neighborhood, the district includes several early-20th century apartment buildings and the Good Shepherd Center.
